| Day 1: Arrival Hanoi Pick up and transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi and transfer to hotel. If time permits, we embark on a cyclo for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy a famous Hanoi water puppets show before dinner. Overnight in Hanoi. Meals: Lunch, Dinner Day 2: Hanoi - Halong  After breakfast at hotel we enjoy a half day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. The complex also comprises the One Pillar pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university, and the Museum of Ethnology which displays an excellent collection of ethnic minorities tools and customes. The peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem and the bustling Dong Xuan Market are also visited. Depart for Halong. Along the way we make a stop over at Hai Duong province to observe embroidery-making women at work. Overnight in Halong city.

The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town, we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone Karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Visit the amazing Thien Cung and Dau Go grottoes. After a seafood lunch on board we return to Ha Noi. Overnight in Hanoi. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 4: Hanoi - Danang  After breakfast transfer to Noibai airport for flight to Danang. Arrive Danang and transfer to Hoi An. In the morning, a half day city tour in Hoi An ancient town, a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled roof houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets is still virtually intact. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. Overnight in Hoi An
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 5: Hoi An Visit the Merchant house, the Japanese bridge, the community hall. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon free at leisure for relaxing at Cua Dai beach. Overnight in Hoi An. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner  Day 6: Hoi An - Hue
Transfer to Hue. Check in hotel. Enjoy a boat ride on the Perfume River, Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Tomb. Visit the Imperial Citadel – first built by King Gia Long in 1805. Here you will visit Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, The Mieu Temple, and the Nine Dynastic Urns and Khai Dinh Tomb. Overnight in Hue. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 7: Hue - Ho Chi Minh
In the morning, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. End of service. Meals: Breakfast |
