Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival (D): Meet on arrival at NoiBaiInternationalAirport and transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon: City tour (if time permits): Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Hoa Lo prison and Quan Thanh Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - HalongBay (B/ L/ D): Morning: City tour: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and whole October-November) and Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, ArmyMuseum, The Temple of Literature. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon: Drive to Halong, 180 km east of Hanoi. Overnight in HalongCity.
Day 3: HalongBay – Hanoi (B/ L/ D): In the morning: Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. A 4-hour cruise on a wooden boat through the picturesque bay of 3,000 limestone islands dotted with caves and grottoes. Seafood lunch on board. In the afternoon: Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Hue (B/ L):
After breakfast enjoy a half day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. The complex also comprises the One Pillar pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi. Transfer to Noibai airport for flight to Hue. Arrive Hue and check in hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Hoi An( B/L):
Transfer to Hue. Check in hotel. Enjoy a boat ride on the PerfumeRiver, Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Tomb. Overnight in Hue. Visit the Imperial Citadel – first built by King Gia Long in 1805. Here you will visit Ngo Mon Gate, ThaiHoaPalace, The Mieu Temple, and the Nine Dynastic Urns and Khai Dinh Tomb. After lunch transfer to Hoi an. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Nha Trang ( B / L):
In the morning, a half day city tour in Hoi An ancient town, a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled roof houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets is still virtually intact. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. Visit the Merchant house, the Japanese bridge, the community hall. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch transfer to Danang airport for flight to Nha trang. Arrive Nha trang, meet and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure at Nha Trang beach. Overnight at hotel in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh (B / L): In the morning, free at leisure until transfer to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive Ho Chi Minh, if time permits, visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Centre Post Office, Binh Tay Market. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh – Cuchi (B /L): The head quarter of Cao Dai sect is located in Tay Ninh. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. After breakfast we travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – Mytho ( B / L): Drive to My Tho in the Mekong Delta region. Take short walk through a local market. Take a boat cruising along the mekong river. Visit local farming village. Enjoy a south region traditional music show - Cai luong. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Dalat ( B / L): In the morning, transfer by bus to Dalat, a cool mountain station. Lakes, waterfalls, evergreen forest and colonial architecture make Dalat one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam. En route visit La nga lake, Bao Loc pass, Bao loc town. Lunch at a local restaurant. Arrive in Dalat and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel in Dalat.
Day 11: Dalat (B / L): After breakfast ,Visit Lat ethnic minority village and the Valley of Love. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, King Baodai's Palacedrive to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive Saigon and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B): Free until transfer to Ho Chi Minh City / TanSonNhatInternationalAirport for departure.
