Day 1: Arrival Hanoi
On arrival you are picked up by tour guide and transfer to hotel. If time permits, we embark on a cyclo for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Overnight in Hanoi. Meal: Dinner Day 2: Hanoi - Halong
After breakfast depart for Halong city. Along the way we make a stop over at Hai Duong province to observe embroidery-making women at work. On arrival we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone Karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Visit the amazing Thien Cung and Dau Go grottoes. After a seafood lunch on board we return to Halong city. Enjoy sunrise in Halong city. Free at leisure until tranfer back to Hanoi. Visit The lake of returning sword and Ngoc Son temple. Enjoy a famous Hanoi water puppets show before dinner. Transferring to train station for Lao Cai. Overnight in Hanoi. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 4: Hanoi After breakfast enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation???s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh???s house on stilts. The complex also comprises the One Pillar pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi, continue to visit the "Hanoi hilton". After lunch visit Temple of literature, also know at the First university and Museum of Ethnology. Overnight in Hanoi. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 5: Hanoi ??? Dalat In the morning, depart for flight to for Dalat, a cool mountain station. Lakes, waterfalls, evergreen forest and colonial architecture make Dalat one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam. Arrive in Dalat and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel in Dalat. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 6: Dalat
Visit Lat ethnic minority village and the Valley
of Love. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon,
continue to Linh Phuong pagoda, King Baodai's
Palace and Truc Lam Thien Vien. Overnight at the
hotel in Dalat. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch Day7: Dalat - PhanThiet After breakfast free at leisure until depart Dalat by road for Phan Thiet. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive Mui ne and check in hotel. Overnight in Mui Ne. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch Day 8: Mui Ne Enjoy a day to the completely untamed area with dunes from dark red to snow white sand and rive along kilometers of white sandy beaches with the sea on one side and endless Sand Dunes on the other. Discover the daily lives of fishermen and drive to aN inland to discover the " White Lake" where snow-white sand dunes reflect themselves in the still waters. Overnight in Mui Ne. museum. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 11: Ho Chi Minh - Cuchi The head quarter of Cao Dai sect is located in Tay Ninh. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. After breakfast we travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho Our car will pick up at your hotel in early morning. Upon arrival at Cai Be, embark a private boat to cruise around Cai Be Floating Market to see local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisped producing process, .. After lunch taking a cruise along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural natural setting of Mekong Delta region. About 3 pm, the boat will arrival at Vinh Long Market, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market. Then transfer to Can Tho City. Overnight in Can Tho. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 13: Can Tho - Phong Dien - Thot Not - Chau Doc
Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang -Phong Dien floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily life in Mekong River and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. We now travel by land to Chau Doc, on the way we will pass Thot Not to visit Bang Lang Bird Sanctuary (Stork Garden) or Crocodile Farm. On arrival at Chau Doc, visit the Sam mountain to enjoy the a breath-taking view and enjoy the sunset on the top of Sam Mountain. Overnight in Chau Doc. Meals: Breakfast, lunch Day 14: Chau Doc ??? Phnom Penh: Depart for the four and half hour journey up the river to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Place, Silver Pagoda, Raung Damrei Museum and National Museum of Fine Arts, Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh. Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 15: Phnom Penh After breakfast visit Independence monument, Toul Sleng Museum and Chloeung Ek Killing Fields. Overnight in Phnom Penh. Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 16: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap: After breakfast depart Phnom Penh for Siem Reap by bus. In the late afternoon visit the hill top temple of Phnom Pakheng to watch the sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 17: Siem Reap (Angkor): Full day visit to the ancient royal capital of Angkor Thom: Bayon, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Terrace of Elephants and Leper king and Ta Prohm temple. Lunch. Afternoon Visit to the 7th World Heritage wonder of Angkor Wat, Ta Som, Ta Keo, Pre Rup temples. Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 18: Depart Siem Reap: This morning, you will visit the oldest temple in Angkor, Banteay Srei. This temple has the most interesting engravings among all the ruins. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Ho Chi Minh airport for flight back home. Meals: Breakfast
